Public Affairs

Public policy decisions and legislation have a profound impact on virtually every public and private institution. Each day, elected and regulatory officials make decisions that could influence, directly or indirectly, a company’s competitiveness, licence to operate and all other aspects of its business activities. Key public affairs audiences include:

  • Government
  • Westminster
  • Whitehall
  • Regional Government
  • Local Government
  • The Political Parties
  • NGOs
  • Think Tanks

Burson-Marsteller’s Public Affairs Practice in London assists clients in achieving their bottom-line public policy and business objectives by facilitating their interaction with these key public affairs audiences.

Many of our senior public affairs executives have served in Government or at high-levels in political parties and NGOs. Our people are well versed in all aspects of the policy making and legislative process and additionally work very closely with colleagues around the world on issues which have an international aspect.

Our highly experienced team of public affairs professionals are able to make maximum use of the latest public affairs and communications tools and techniques, including the sophisticated use of polling, research and the internet.

In 2010 we won the Public Affairs Campaign of the Year – Hebrides Range Task Force with Burson-Marsteller, UK at the PR Week awards and the SABRE awards 2009/10. Burson-Marsteller EMEA named Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year by the Holmes Report 2009
