Ben Maynard new Chair of Burson-Marsteller Tech Practice

London, 12 December, 2011 – Burson-Marsteller has announced that Ben Maynard will be the new Practice Chair of its UK Technology team as of the January 2012. Ben joined the firm in August as a Managing Director and Deputy Practice Chair and has been working alongside current Chair Chris Cartwright who is switching roles within B-M to become MD at B-M Geneva.
Commenting Matt Carter, UK CEO of Burson-Marsteller, said:

Maynard was most recently Head of Technology and Telecommunications at MHP Communications, where he worked on clients ranging from established leaders Yahoo! and Siemens to green tech pioneers Onzo and Silver Spring Networks. Prior to this, he was deputy Managing Director of Harvard PR, where he worked with Cartwright. There, he headed blue chip technology accounts such as Cisco, Adobe, Sony Playstation and Vodafone. Before joining Harvard he was joint head of the technology practice at Band & Brown. He has also had experience on the client side, working as global head of corporate communications for FTSE 350 company, SHL.
