About us

Careers

At Burson-Marsteller our mindset is truly global, as is our approach to the career development of our people. While other companies will say they offer international opportunities, we actually do. We have a range of international assignment programmes which allow our consultants the opportunity to work and live in another market.

Every consultant is an integral part of a global network and we thrive on working with the biggest global clients across markets and within a practice structure that fosters open and fluid communication between colleagues across Europe and around the world.

Experienced Applicants

We are constantly seeking the best talent in the market and welcome applications from experienced consultants as well as from people from a variety of backgrounds to join our team. Among our current senior consultants are former members of the European and national parliaments, esteemed academics and journalists and leading figures in industry, all of whom have found their next challenge and are enjoying a rewarding career at Burson-Marsteller.

Graduate Applicants

We welcome applications from graduates from a wide range of disciplines. We are particularly interested in graduates with a strong first degree and a specialist post- graduate qualification. The most successful entry point for graduates continues to be joining our internship programme.

Doing an internship in one of our European offices is an excellent starting point for entering Burson-Marsteller, with an average of twenty interns a year being offered a permanent position with us. We seek people from a broad range of backgrounds, such as international relations, medicine, history, languages and of course communications. Interns make an important contribution to our work and it provides them with good insight into the communications business and Burson-Marsteller. Obviously, we cannot offer full-time jobs to all our interns but because we do everything possible to involve them as full members of the team this is genuinely a great learning experience for them and often the first step in a promising career in the industry.

Learning and Professional Development

Burson-Marsteller offers its employees a comprehensive range of award winning learning and professional skills development opportunities closely aligned with business needs and our strategy.
